In primul rand doresc sa va prezint anumite detalii despre frana tipul de placuta si fenomenul care are loc in timpul franarii.
Multi dintre voi presupun ca in momentul achizitionarii unui set de placute mergeti pe varianta si ieftin dar si bun. Acest lucru nu prea se gaseste. Asadar de cele mai multe ori placutele care sunt ieftine sunt si de calitate mai slaba. Prin ce se caracterizeaza calitatea slaba la placute? . In primul rand compozitia din care se face . O placuta (ferodoul) care este mai moale are efect de franare mai proasta in plus datorita faptului ca nu are loc “sfarimarea ” ferodoului apare caldura .Aceasta caldura face aparitia pe suprafata placutei efectul de sticlare care in momentul cand incepe sa apara efectul de franare este din ce in ce mai proasta .(apare un zgomot si franarea este mai proasta) De obicei acest efect apare numai la viteze mari ,adica daca avem vreo 120-140 km/h si trebuie redus viteza la 40-50 . Un alt dezavantaj pe care o prezinta ca discul de frana care se face din fonta se transforma in otel iar dupa un timp se deformeaza discul .(se simte efectul de trepidatie pe pedala in timpul franarii) . La acest dezavantaj s-a nascut ideea de a face canal de curatare sau gauri de curatare a placutelor in general la masinile de curse. Asadar mi-am propus sa o incerc si eu aceasta metoda si am aplicat la Zafirica mea. In primul rand m-am urcat intr-un zafira B unde am vazut ca numai ma uitam la pedala de frana si eram cu mucii pe parbriz 😃 tot asa la Astra H.Fiind foarte suparat ca la mine trebuie sa o apas mai temeinic pedala am zis ca fac aceasta modificare. La inceput am vrut sa o fac cu gauri de curatare dar bordurile de racire fiind in numar impar (cu galben desenat) .

Avantajul la acest tip de disc este faptul ca intr-adevar frana numai trebuie apasat temeinic si nici incalzirea discurilor nu are loc (caldura care produce atat deformarea discurilor cat si uzura neuniforma ) .Dezavantaj : placutele de frana se consuma mai repede.
